Getting Rid of Blackheads

Blackheads are facial blemishes like pimples. The difference between the two is that pimples have skin over them and blackheads do not. Since blackheads do not have skin over them, the excess sebum and dead skin cells that accumulate is exposed and oxidized turning them black.

This skin blemish is very annoying and unsightly, but you must understand that blackheads are not caused by dirt and endlessly scrubbing to remove it will do more harm than good. This is because as you scrub repeatedly your skin becomes dry and as a mechanism by the body, sebum is produced which will once again clog these pores and becomes a blackhead all over again. This cycle must be stopped to effectively get rid of blackheads. The following are some methods on how to get rid of blackheads:

Treatment 1: Glue Cover Treatment

Step 1: Get plain non toxic glue. The ones used by kids in school are sufficient.

Step 2: Immerse a very small towel in a basin of very warm water. Make sure that the water is very warm that steam still rises from it, but not too hot that it scalds you.

Step 3: After immersion, wring the towel to remove excess water, and then spread it on your face. This will open up your pores as a reaction from the heat of the towel. Leave it there for about 3 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the towel and make sure that your skin is dry. Apply the glue on the affected area. Make it thick enough to create a patch when it dries up.

Step 5: Remove the dried glue patch and the blackheads should have been pulled out as well

Step 1: Acquire an egg and separate the white from the yolk

Step 2: Rinse your face with warm water

Step 3: Spread a thin layer of egg white onto your skin

Step 4: Place a piece of tissue over this layer and let it dry

Step 5: Apply a second layer by patting it over the dried first layer

Step 6: Let it dry and apply an optional third layer or let it stay on your skin until it is completely dry

Your skin should feel tight as an effect of the egg white. Peel off the layers, then rinse

In this treatment you just need to combine lime juice, almond oil and glycerin in equal portions and use the mixture as a lotion. Apply lotion on a daily basis, not only should your blackheads disappear, but dark spots as well.

Besides these treatments, blackheads can easily be avoided and prevented. All it takes to achieve this is to have a proper diet and a healthy lifestyle. As your body gets stressed, the body goes on overdrive in hormonal production, which may result in excess sebum production. This being said, all you need to do is just to relax and learn how to handle stress.
